Philip Yeates M.C.S.P., S.R.P

Over 20 years experience as a chartered physiotherapist. Associated with Dunfermline Athletic F.C. for over 20 years up to May 2004. Now concentrates on working solely within the clinic at Dunfermline. Presently physiotherapist with Scottish national football team. Has been physio to the team for 10 years, covering Euro '96 and World Cup '98.

Between 1987 and 1994 covered youth international U-19 World Cup Finals in Chile and U-16 World Cup Finals in Scotland. Presently member of SFA medical sub committee. Provider of service for Tayside Fife Institute of Sport and various corporate clients.

Colette McLaren M.C.S.P., S.R.P

Qualified from Glasgow Caledonian University in 1995 with a BSc Hons in Physiotherapy. Worked at Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for 4 years, where basic clinical skills were gained. Then moved on to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for 2 years as a senior. Worked closely with a specialist physiotherapist and a consultant in spinal pain for over a year then took a management post in respiratory. During NHS career became involved with the district rugby. For 6 years was one of the physiotherapist for the Caledonian Reds at 17 - 21 level. While still in the NHS worked for Philip while he was away on SFA duties. 4 years ago started working with Philip full time at East End Park. In July continued to work alongside Philip and Alistair in the new clinic.

Areas of clinical experience include neck pain, headaches, back pain, sports injuries, occupational health injuries and acupuncture.

Acupuncture can be used to treat many conditions but as a physiotherapist it is mainly used for musculoskeletal pain relief. Have been qualified in this area for 5 years

Sarah Gillespie M.C.S.P., S.R.P

Qualified from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2004 with a First class BSC Hons in Physiotherapy. Started junior rotational work at Stirling Royal Infirmary in 2005. Worked at Senior Level 2 for 3 months across 4 medical wards & coronary care while also working for Philip for evening clinics.

In June 2006 started working for Philip full time in the clinic.

Main areas of clinical experience include sports injuries, occupational health issues neck and back pain & sport rehabilitation.

Susan Mollison Dip.A.A.M.S., D.S.M., D.S.R.M., M.S.I.R.

Massage therapist qualified in Remedial Sports Massage, Swedish Massage, Clinical Aromatherapy and Reflexology. Began career as a Clinical Aromatherapist in 2002 whilst training at the Academy of Aromatherapy and Massage Scotland; on completion of this course continued studies gaining a further qualification in Reflexology at the same institution.

In 2003 began working with Dr Paul Lim at the Ochilview Complementary Clinic, Falkirk. Whilst working with Dr Lim began studying Swedish Massage and Sport and Remedial Massage under the tutoring of Jackie Tiernan at the Fife School of Massage. After completing these Diploma’s became a massage practitioner at the Jackie Tiernan Practise and a mentor for students at the Fife School of Massage.

Joined the Philip Yeates Physiotherapy Practice in May 2006 and in February 2006 registered with Therapy for Events working at various sporting events i.e. Caledonian Challenge, Loch Ness Marathon. A full member of the Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation and the Scottish Institute of Reflexology. Diploma’s in Remedial Sports Massage, Swedish Massage, Clinical Aromatherapy and a practitioners certificate in Reflexology.
